The Junior Service League of St. Augustine is proud to host it’s 35th annual Fall Gala “Moonlight & Magnolias” Saturday, November 4th, 2017! A full moon will shine the evening of Moonlight & Magnolias, the Floridian fall air sweet with the aroma of gardenia, magnolia, and tuberose. The historical and charming waterfront expanse of the Fountain of Youth will be all aglow with sparking candles & twinkling lights, transformed into an enchanting and glamorous fairy tale. Black Molly Grill will be serving an array of traditional southern fare along with fusions certain to create a nirvana of the palate. Sip champagne or whatever delights you at your choice of three open bars. Enjoy exquisite entertainment and dance under the stars and savor a string quartet-accompanied cocktail hour. Sweet City Cupcakes will serve delectably luscious cupcakes and desserts. Moonlight & Magnolias will surely be an evening to remember!
The annual fundraiser is a high-point for the St. Augustine & Northeast Florida community. The Junior Service League of St. Augustine is a service-oriented group of women who work to benefit over 10 local and national charities such as the Tag Children’s Museum, Kids Bridge Supervised Visitation Center, Boys and Girls Club of America, and the landmark St. Augustine Lighthouse, the cause which ignited the women’s 501(c)3 organization’s foundation over 50 years ago. The Junior Service League of St. Augustine spearheaded the rebuilding project and continues to support the preservation and continued sustainability of the Lighthouse.
